Soft seal gate valve is a common industrial valve. The opening and closing part of soft seal gate valve is a wedge. The direction of movement of the wedge is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid. The gate valve can only be fully opened and fully closed, and cannot be adjusted or throttled.

When manufacturing soft seal gate valves in batch, the following performance tests should be carried out:

1. Opening and closing torque of soft seal gate valve under working pressure;

2. Whether the soft seal gate valve can be closed tightly under the working pressure condition;

3. Detection of flow resistance coefficient of soft seal gate valve under pipeline water delivery condition

Soft seal gate valve should undergo the following tests before delivery:

1. When the soft seal gate valve is open, the valve body shall withstand the internal pressure detection of 1.5 times of the valve's working pressure value;

2. When the soft seal gate valve is closed, both sides bear 1.1 times of the valve working pressure value respectively, without leakage.

Internal and external anti-corrosion of soft seal gate valve:

1. The inside and outside of the valve body (including the variable speed transmission box) should first be shot blasted to remove sand and rust, and strive to electrostatically spray powdery non-toxic epoxy resin with a thickness of more than 0.3mm. When it is difficult to electrostatically spray non-toxic epoxy resin on extra-large soft seal gate valves, it should also be brushed and sprayed with similar non-toxic epoxy paint.

2. The interior of the valve body and all parts of the valve plate are required to be fully anti-corrosion. On the one hand, it will not rust when soaked in water, and there will be no electrochemical corrosion between the two metals; on the other hand, the smooth surface reduces the water resistance.

3. The hygienic requirements of the anti-corrosion epoxy resin or paint in the valve body should have the inspection report of the corresponding authority. The chemical and physical properties should also meet the relevant requirements.
