What big news for Dervos! After years of planning, design and construction, the new plant is put into use. Everyone at Dervos is working together to achieve this goal. On the occasion of our 7th anniversary, we added “the icing on the cake” to Dervos. The new plant is currently located in Anfeng Industrial Park, Yubei Town, Yongjia County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is worth noting that the new plant has greater production space, a comfortable working environment, advanced facilities and production management systems to increase productivity and automation.

As a leading valve supplier in China, Dervos was founded in 2008 in Xiamen. The past 7 years have witnessed the rapid growth in Dervos, from customer base to number of employees and market share. We attribute this success to the collaborative efforts and endeavor of Dervos people under the leadership of our boss Eric and sales manager Ken. The anniversary celebration falls on June 28th. It is an unforgettable night when all Dervos people gather in a Chinese hotpot restaurant to share the bittersweet memories and to celebrate the hard-earned success. In joyful atmosphere, we had a great time enjoying delicate refreshments and yummy food. What a wonderful night! Apart from the celebration dinner, every employee gets handsome bonus from our boss and his inspirational speech motivates us to keep on hard working. The next anniversary will surely come with huge progress and great success achieved by Dervos in achieving its long-term goal and mission.

2014 is an important year for Dervos to go global and seek more opportunities to work with customers, end users or manufacturers. Our wide range of products will be on display at the 9th Biennial Valve World Conference & Exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany, in December this year. The three-day event will take place from December 2nd to 4th, 2014 at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. At the same time, we were invited to a seminar on topics including energy efficiency, future engineer recruitment, escape emissions, Esealing technology, procurement, services and other topics. This event is definitely the door to more potential customers or new customers in Europe and other regions. At the beginning of 2014, Dervos make a plan to be more involved in the industries ofoil and gas, marine, control system, petrochemical, power generation and chemical solutions. Our top agenda in the first half of 2014 is to participate in the21st WPC, the biggest and the most prestigious industry event, which is held once every three years. Starting from 15 to 19 June, the WPC this year will be held in at the Crocus Exhibition Centre in Moscow, Russia. It is said that it will be the largest ever in the WPC history with over 600 exhibitors from 50 countries participating the exhibition on the space of 50,000 square meters gross. In addition, we are invited to attend the seminar along with the event, where a lot of influential specialists, experts, and suppliers will make presentations on the topic of valves and fittings as well as trends and designs. Dervos people are entitled to take a 7-day off at the end of each year by travelling together to some beautiful places we haven’t been. Definitely this is a great chance for us to unwind from everyday stress and relax our mind and body. Our destination this time is Old Town of Lijiang, a UNESCO Heritage Site, located in Lijiang City, Kunming, Yunnan province. Along the ancient tea route, Lijiang was the center of all kinds of trading business in the ancient time. Nowadays, it remains prosperous, attracting numerous tourists at home and abroad, including   artists, students and adventurers. The town has a maze of winding cobblestone streets, which make you easy to get lost for the first visit. It is well known by its “Bar Street”. The whole street is lined with bars and clubs, with music, drink, and dance everywhere. There are many tourist-oriented shops showcasing artifacts, embroidered items, silver articles and local specialties. We stay in a hotel, whose owner has converted the old traditional houses to boutique rooms. We had great fun in Lijiang: the rosy sunset, trickling streams, crystal clear water, rosy sunset, quiet yet sinuous mountain paths, vast expanse of dry meadow, distinctive local customs, horse riding, boating and ascending to the snow-covered mountain summit at 4,680 m by cable car. We brought this unforgettable and beautiful memory back to Xiamen, and return to work healthier, happier and therefore likely to be more productive.
